The purpose of this App is not to make you an expert in small craft safety and survival techniques in the Arctic, but our hope is that it will be a helpful tool for you in performing safety inspections on board the boat before and during the voyage. The Education part includes brief safety instructions with links to references online, mainly to the SMACS Training Programme.
You are encouraged to attend safety and survival training courses at an approved training centre before an Arctic voyage.
